Not quite micro-fiction, but for someone who has a hard time writing anything under 3,000 words? Well, this will have to do. These are short writings, often based on a prompt* or an idea that pops into my head. They’re not fully fleshed out. They’re not on their way to an anthology.

Although they might eventually be a springboard for longer works, they don’t have to serve that purpose—and that’s okay. These drabbles are all about experimenting and exploring. I love to write, but sometimes even I have to remind myself to have fun with it.

So here’s to the fun!

Feathered Sky

Funny how a single cloud can spark a story.

Suddenly, Baby!

Say you’re a demon who suddenly finds themselves entrusted with a child. What next?

15 Minutes for a Miracle

Prompt: People either fall for me or try to kill me.  Little did I know that today, it would be both.

Spikes and Rails

Love, loss, and an unlikely king waiting for betrayal.

With All My Heart

“Are you sure, Jessie? Are you sure?” This one is for my friend Krissey, who offered the prompt “Conviction“!

Stuck

What do you do when you’re stuck in the mountains with a ghost???
